Vocational Services - Groups

Career Profiles regularly operates sessions for small groups of job seekers.

At present, I operate job seeking programs for people with work injuries.

In these groups, specific subjects are covered as well as providing feedback and information on the speicific needs or concerns of the participants.

Some group sessions include:

• Understanding how motivation & participation will improve your chances at employment
• Understanding who has the skills & options within the job seeking relationship
• Phone & face to face contacts with employers
• Verbal communications that will impress the potential employer
• Interview presentation, communication & etiquette
• Reviewing your actions and learning how to improve your job seeking
• Managing difficult agencies or employers
• Using cold calling and contacts for improving your job options
• Knowing government resources, programs and benefits
• Using technology to increase your job options
• Retaining that job once you have started work
